Channel 44 television sports Presenter Mukiibi Moses went against odds when he overwhelmingly won the hotly contested UMCAT School of Journalism and Mass Communication race.

Mukiibi commonly known as Omugave Moses politically whacked Baganda Nkobazambogo’s veteran leader Ssemanda Wasswa Ibra who was defeated with a 25 vote difference.

Speaking to our team, Mukiibi applauded all his supporters and the institution for the great opportunity.

He however stressed the need to bridge the gap between the management and students and also lobby for jobs and other forms of hands-on opportunities for the students.

Mukiibi becomes the 17th Guild President. Other people who won include Ms.Lukiiko Nathira (Vice Guild) Mr. Eric Ssempijja (Speaker) and Ms. Nansubuga Shamirah (General Secretary).

UMCAT School of Journalism and Mass communication located in Bukesa Nakulabye along Kyadondo road is a leading Media Institutions in Uganda since 1996 with most of its products dominating both broadcast and Print Media houses.
