Muyomba: I am a born of Nsambya one of the city suburbs born on the 14th April 1996 my hobbies are watching football, music, and watching news.
When does the passion for football start?
Muyomba: As a kid, I drew my passion for the game from my first coach Richard Amatrey when I was still in primary seven at Nsambya p/s way back in 2006, he told me about the good things I would earn as a player; pride, fame and the education sponsorship and it has really worked out.
How did you end up at Kampala University?
Muyomba: from Nsambya, I joined Old Kampala SS under the mentorship of my new coach Yusuf kyabande who always trusted and engaged me in numerous school championships like the Kampala regional, Copa cocacola which put me in the limelight attracting several universities yearning for my signature. Of the many, I chose to join coach Tiiti Kamara at Kampala University.
How did you strike the balance between books and studies?
Muyomba: I had passion for the two. So I made them my only priorities and always scheduled a time table. I also talked to my coaches at Maroons FC and they agreed to my taking breaks for lectures in the mornings and train in the evening.
Any advice for upcoming players?
Muyomba: the wanna be sports stars should always believe in themselves, trust God, set your goals and always know that education is the key to success. Without papers life is much harder.
Muyomba: My dream is to be one of the Ugandans playing in Europe for giants like Arsenal, Barcelona among others.
